Procedure for Applying for the Granting of an Initial Residence Permit for Third-Country Nationals

A third-country national who wishes to obtain a residence permit must submit an application for its issuance after entering the country and before the expiry of their entry visa (Visa).

The applicant must attach the supporting documents and submit proof of payment of the required electronic fee (e-paravolo).

The application is submitted electronically through the Integrated Information System “Immigration”:

After the examination of the required conditions, the applicant may be invited via email (sent to the declared email address) to attend an interview at a specific place and time.
